Mark Fogel is Improving Communication’s Human Resources senior advisor. With over two decades of C-Suite leadership roles at Leviton Manufacturing, Marcum LLP, and Success Academy Charter Schools, Mark has the experience to help clients face any HR challenge. His early years included Operations and Talent management roles at Limited Brands and Macy’s, where he fine tuned his technical expertise in line roles.
He currently teaches HR classes as a Senior Adjunct Professor at Adelphi University’s Graduate School of Business as well as teaching the HR certification course for SHRM.
Mark has several honors of distinction including The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)’s 2007 Human Capital Leader of the Year in 2007, and HR Executive Magazine’s Honor Roll recipient in 2010 and “Best HR Ideas” in 2012. He has also received SHRM’s Innovation in a Down Economy Award in 2009, Adelphi University’s Teaching Excellence award in 2013, and was named one of the 50 Most Influential Business Leaders by Long Island Business News. His HR teams have garnered numerous national and local awards for HR innovation, wellness, and employee engagement.
